Google Earth Co-ordinates: Lat 52°23'33.05"N - Lon 1°24'5.98"W
Track: 350m shale, armco fence. Wide bends, tarmac centre open to short cut abuse by some drivers. Slick surface. Ultra fine shale leads to ice-like conditions when it rains.
Formulas: F1's, F2's, bangers & Rebels
Toilets: Acceptable to good.
Viewing: Excellent
Parking: Bags of room, but sometimes becomes a stockcar race trying to get out after the meeting.
Security: Reduced profile in 2008.
Track Shop: Speedway oriented but has some stockcar stuff.
Food & Drink: Usual high cholesterol stuff, 2 bars and exec. boxes. Restaurant food available in main stand.
Pit access: Yes
Racing Quality: Consistent. Sometimes roundy roundy. Mainly a low damage track.
Communication: Okay, but emphasis is put on entertaining the punters in the main grandstand leaving rest of the stadium basically listening to a bloke talking about something they can't see.
Irritating points: Coventry has it's way of doing things. Poor PA on back straight and bends.
WOW Factor: Large grids of cars
Future: Prime site for a supermarket, but recent investments seem to say the short term future is secure
