What are F2 Stockcars?

Basically F2's have a chassis built within the strict guidelines of the BriSCA F2 Stockcar specifications and are almost exclusively fitted with a standard 2.0 litre SOHC Ford Pinto engine. The car will weigh between 625kg and 685kg. There are a million and one other rules and technical stipulations, so if you really need to know whether crankshafts can be shot peened or whether carb trumpets are allowed, then click on the BriSCAF2.com button on the left and fill your brains. Good luck!

One rule that stands out and should really be taken on board by BriSCA Formula One is this:
The driver’s name must appear on the off-side of the car aerofoil in letters at least three inches high, where it can be seen by the spectators. However, this is not always the case with F2's either.
