The diversity of creatures on planet Earth is a thing of beauty.
Extinction means: when they're gone, they're gone forever. Do you want to see Polar Bears become extinct? What about Siberian Tigers? How about the Gharial of Pakistan? Tigers and Gharials are hunted and killed, chopped up then their bones are dried, ground into a powder and drunk in the primitive belief it will enhance a human being's sexual performance. How pathetic is that?
The truth is, some of the creatures below WILL become extinct by 2020 and many of them will become extinct because some of our more primitive countries practice this immature nonsense. Others like Whales, Polar Bears and more recently Antarctic Penguins are under immense pressure under threat of extinction through abject ignorance and stubborn "I'm alright Jack, f*** you" attitudes by so call mature nations like Japan, Russia the USA.
CHINA - Where ignorance and rural medieval beliefs belie their so called developed nation claims. Tigers, Dolphins, Saiga Antelopes and many more. Chopping up Tigers for aphrodisiacs, immature unsubstantiated primitive beliefs. Loss of habitat for many creatures due to damming the Yangtse and Yellow Rivers.
PAKISTAN - Where ignorance induced by primitive medieval religion is the norm. Brown Bears, Wolves and Gharials. Immature unsubstantiated primitive aphrodisiac beliefs. Incredible nationwide ignorance towards animal welfare not least the threat against many species in Pakistan. They don't deserve their wildlife!
USA - Where the motor car and isolationist ignorance rules. Polar Bears and all arctic creatures now under threat; aggressive anti-Kyoto stance which has held back progress for 10 absolutely critical years. 10% of the Arctic and Antarctic ice mass has disappeared during this period.
JAPAN - Where the traditionalist attitude blinds even the most intelligent people. Whales and many types of dolphin are under threat. Stubborn bloody minded attitude. Intensive and irresponsible fishing for the selfish Japanese palate in the face of world criticism has put many specie of Whale on the edge of extinction.
EUROPE & GREAT BRITAIN - Where farming subsidies rule. Greed and ignorance. Ripping out hedgerows to make larger fields has led to a massive decline in much on the indiginous bird and mammal life across vast swathes of countryside.
When they are gone, they are gone forever....think about it.
