BSCDA STATEMENT
An Inquiry Panel met on May 7th to review three recent incidents and these were the findings subject to appeal:
Scott Davids (462) was found guilty of a Category ‘A’ offence at King’s Lynn on April 24th and was banned from racing for twenty meetings, ten of which were suspended. He is clear to race again on June 7th.
Ryan Harrison (197) was found guilty of two Category ‘A’ offences at Coventry on May 3rd and was banned from racing for twelve months. He is clear to race again on April 2nd 2009.
Dave Johnson (383) was found guilty of a Category ‘2’ offence at Belle Vue on May 5th and was banned from racing for twenty four meetings, twelve of which were suspended. He is clear to race again on June 22nd.
All drivers have the right of appeal to the BriSCA Management Board.

Scunthorpe Trials
Dan Johnson, Peter Falding and Frankie Wainman Jnr tested out the Scunthorpe- Eddie Wright Raceway on Normanby Road on Sunday. Speculation by the Scunthorpe Telegraph reads it is hoped to have some meetings there next year. The BSCDA have confirmed that Scunthorpe have entered an application to the BMB for this track to be considered for an F1 Meeting in the future. The appllication will be dealt with as a matter of routine. Obviously there will be speculation but at present this is the situation.

SheffStox goes red
As from Coventry, SHEFFSTOX goes red courtesy of Andy Ford who will be promoting this website on his wing. Andy is now up to star grade after a great start in F1's along with fellow F2 convert Jonathan Gibson and V8's Chris Fort.

VENRAY

There appears no way back for Venray. The next plan is for indoor racing inside an enormous multi-purpose stadium. The enormous extractor fans are already installed and the whole project sounds incredible. If this comes off you'll need to get your earplugs out.

LOCHGELLY
A new track is planned for Lochgelly. Hopefully it will be ready before Racewall is turned into a supermarket. Read questionairre answers here.

Jos op 't Roodt & Ron Kroonder. Now are these bloody good looking cars or what?
UK Open anybody?
CAR SHARE SCHEME
If you are going to watch racing alone next weekend, have you considered car sharing? If you want to go to a meeting but don't have the transport, have you visited STOXNET to enquire about car sharing? With the ever increasing cost of petrol, it makes sense to share the cost and make going stockcar affordable for as many people as possible. If you don't go on Stoxnet, you can always email ZepStox (5 cms to the left, and up a bit, a bit more...stop!) and we will try to help.
